Currently we are using BizTalk 2013 r2 environment and using \nSoftware SFTP adapter for secure file transfer to send and receive files to trading partners. We are planning to migrate from BizTalk landscape from BizTalk 2013 r2 to BizTalk 2016. As part of this migration, we have analyzed the native BizTalk Secure FTP adapter and \nSoftware SFTP adapter v4/v2016.
Here are the summary of different options available for receiving files (BizTalk Receive Port) and sending files ( BizTalk Send Port) in BizTalk 2013r2 and BizTalk 2016 and \nSoftware using SFTP adapter.

Based on the above comparison \nSoftware has lot of additional useful features than the native adapter in BizTalk 2013 r2/BizTalk 2016.
